Croatian Post brings famous characters into the hands of collectors

ZAGREB, February 20, 2023 – On February 22^nd Croatian Post will release a new series of commemorative postage stamps dedicated to popular culture, which will feature PlayStation® characters. The characters from the games shown on postage stamps are well-known Kratos and Atreus from God of War, Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West, Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us, and Ratchet and Clank and Rivet from the game Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The author of the souvenir sheet, that consists of four postage stamps is Alenka Lalić, designer from Zagreb. The nominal value of the stamps is marked with the letter B, which corresponds to the international postage fee for a letter weighing up to 50 g. The souvenir sheet is issued in 50,000 blocks. Croatian Post has also issued a First Day Cover (FDC).
This edition was created in collaboration with PlayStation Croatia. Well-known characters are giving these stamps a special collectable value.
The first issue in the “Popular Culture” series testifies the importance of postage stamps which tells stories by travelling the globe, this time about discovering new worlds and experiences.

Kratos and Atreus
