Croatian Post marked this important day with a commemorative philatelic act. During meetings, there was mutual satisfaction regarding the cooperation in the preparation and implementation of national currency conversion, which is the task of the Croatian Post through the network of more than 1,000 post offices available in more than 800 locations in Croatia.

Framed sheet showcases this year's first philatelic issue of the Croatian Post, which is also the first Croatian postage stamp with nominal value in euros. The motif portrays the national side of the one euro coin, and the author of the souvenir sheet is Dean Roksandić, designer from Zagreb, based on the photograph by Božidar Bengez. The nominal value of the souvenir sheet printed in 50,000 copies amounts to 1.14 euros. This issue was realized in cooperation with the Croatian National Bank.
