Croatian Post as an example of social responsibility towards children

30.11.2020.
Croatian Post as an example of social responsibility towards childrenThe Advisory Committee on Children's Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility, with the support of UNICEF, has launched a project to map responsible business practices towards children. The students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, prepared case studies on the impact of business on children and the steps companies have taken to include children's rights in their business principles, practices and organizational culture.

The publication "Summary of examples of business practices responsible towards children" highlights the good practices of companies operating in Croatia, which have become aware of the importance of participating in child care. One of the prominent case studies is the socially responsible business of Croatian Post, which, through the ‘Vaša pošta’ Foundation, provides financial aid to the residents of the institutions for children without adequate parental care.

The authors have also recognized the numerous benefits that Croatian Post offers to its employees that have a positive impact on the lives of their children and families, as well as the internship and scholarship opportunities that Croatian Post offers to young people.
