Annual report for 2020 published
 
At the General Assembly session, held on 31 May, the Annual Report for 2020 was adopted. The report contains the management report, annual financial reports, including the independent auditor's report for Croatian Post Inc., and the non-consolidated and consolidated data as well as the non-consolidated and consolidated financial statements for the year that ended on 31 December 2020.

Croatian Post achieved great operating results in the past year. It achieved an EBITDA in the amount of HRK 236.2 million, as well as the EBITDA margin of 13.9%, and Croatian Post ended the year with a net profit of HRK 35.9 million. The challenging pandemic year accelerated the growth of the parcel part of the business which is a consequence of an increasing consumption in digital (online) stores, and a parcel increase of 10.5% was recorded last year.

During the five-year period, more than HRK 1 billion was invested, which is four times more than in the previous five-year period. The operations of Croatian Post have had a strong financial impact on the entire economy of the Republic of Croatia with more than HRK 500 million per year. The biggest impact is achieved through the trade sector, services, IT, telecommunications and the construction industry.

In addition to investing in its operations, Croatian Post has invested considerable funds into corporate social responsibility. The primary determinant of social responsibility is care for the employees and the community. Despite the pandemic and the earthquakes that hit our country, the Post employees have not stopped working for a single day, therefore, as a thank you, at the end of the year, they were paid HRK 32.9 million in special bonuses. Croatian Post helped the community by donating more than HRK 1 million to the health system, and HRK 1 million was paid to the victims in the Sisak-Moslavina area a day after the devastating earthquake.
