The international COG-LO project has been completed

The Croatian Post participated in the award-winning project

COG-LO (Cognitive Logistics) is a project of PostEurop, an association of European public postal operators, and also the first project of the Croatian Post financed from European Union funds. The project involved 14 project partners from all over Europe, and its total value is five million euros in grants. Out of the total amount of allocated funds from the HORIZON2020 program, Croatian post received HRK 1.6 million for the implementation of a pilot project with Slovenian post.

The goal of the COG-LO project was to enable international shipments to be transported across the border without passing through alternating mail. This significantly reduces delivery time and shipment time, and thus costs. The COG-LO project will enable postal operators to better meet the expectations of both retailers and consumers by improving customer satisfaction when it comes to considering delivery. The implementation of such a project created the possibility of ad-hoc collection and delivery of packages to customers on the same day.

In June 2021, the project won the Post & Parcel Awards 2021 in the "Cross-Border Growth" category.
