''Vaša pošta'' Foundation ensured a better future for more than 500 children without adequate parental care

The Croatian Post presented the results of the Foundation's work
ZAGREB, 9 February 2023 - on 8 Feb 2023, in the hall of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, a presentation of the work of the "Vaša pošta" Foundation was held under the auspices of Oleg Butković, Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, and Marin Piletić, Minister of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy.
The gathered representatives of companies, public institutions, children's homes and social welfare centers were first welcomed by Ivan Čulo, President of the Management Board of Croatian Post: “The importance of the Foundation is also reflected in the fact that all the proposed projects and initiated activities were accepted from the very beginning in the shortest possible time by the competent state institutions, including the social welfare system, for which we're especially grateful.''
''The ''Vaša pošta'' Foundation is one of the most successful examples of corporate social responsibility in Croatia,'' said Alen Gospočić, State Secretary at the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, envoy of Mr. Butković.
The envoy of the President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Minister Marin Piletić, emphasized the good cooperation of all social welfare institutions with the "Vaša pošta" Foundation: ''It is our duty to support all those who create added value for the society in which we live by providing financial assistance for children without adequate parental care upon leaving the institutions. We are grateful to the Foundation for everything it does to protect and promote the rights of children, which is one of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Croatia."
Ivana Mrkonjić, President of the Management Board of ''Vaša pošta'' Foundation and a member of the Management Board of Croatian Post, presented the results of the Foundation's work and urged the audience to join the Foundation in creating a better future for children: ''Let's help our young people to realize their potential, reach the heights they deserve and become a bright reflection of Croatian youth with a promising future."
In the 13 years of its existence, the "Vaša pošta" Foundation, in cooperation with 20 children's homes, has handed out more than 500 life insurance policies and donated more than three million euros, becoming a synonym for permanent and safe assistance to children and young people from the social welfare system.
