15 Opel Vivaro electric vans have been delivered to Croatian Post. Thus, Croatian Post's “green” vehicle fleet has been upgraded to 25 Opel Combo e-vans and 10 light delivery e-vehicles. Ten new vans will be used for deliveries in Zagreb and Velika Gorica, while five vehicles will enhance the electric vehicle fleet in Osijek.

Opel Vivaro vans reach a maximum speed of 130 km/h with a range of up to 231 kilometers, and the battery capacity amounts to 50 kWh. Croatian Post plans to purchase an additional 158 electric vehicles this year. Likewise, freight and light delivery electric vehicles, 40 of which are already in the postal fleet, have been included in the vehicle fleet for the first time. Vans and light delivery vehicles will primarily be used in the areas of Zagreb, Bjelovar, Osijek, Rijeka, Zadar and Split. All vehicles will be delivered no later than February 2023.

Croatian Post plans to introduce green business in all its activities. In order to achieve goals and transform our business, we increasingly rely on the growing number of electric vehicles and alternative delivery channels, such as the network or parcel lockers, 170 of which are set up in various locations in Croatia.
