The Croatian Post Day is celebrated on 10 October.

Not one, but two post days are marked in October – the World Post Day and the Croatian Post Day. Neither buildings nor vehicles, but people make the Post and the Croatian Post is a very successful company with good results.
On a daily basis, more than 150 thousand people visit 1016 post offices in every corner of Croatia, making us the company with the largest and most accessible network of offices in the country. All of this is due to the fact that our customers recognize the quality, expertise and experience of our employees. Our customers are always at the centre of our business approach and all that we do. We are continually introducing new technologies into our business process and we conquer new markets by demonstrating our excellence.
The Croatian Post is at the service of citizens. In cooperation with the public administrative authorities, such as the Ministry of the Interior and the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute, we have turned post offices across the country into places where citizens can fulfil their administrative obligations and, by widening the scope of our services even further, we want to make public administration even more accessible to citizens in every corner of the country.

Croatian Post CEO Ivan Čulo released a message on the occasion of the Croatian Post Day on 10 October

Thanks to the Post 2022 Development Strategy, as well as all our employees’ hard and dedicated work, the company is performing well and we can be proud of our achievements because we are not only the largest employer in Croatia, but also a reliable business partner. We have great potential and we adapt well both to the demands of our customers and the trends in the European and global markets. So far this year, we have successfully implemented some strategic projects and are bringing others to a close, from the construction of our new sorting centre in Velika Gorica – the biggest investment in the Post’s history – to the digitalization of our services, which is now part of our everyday lives. By introducing new technologies into our business process, we ensure further development and income. At the same time, by investing in people, their knowledge and personal development, we make another important investment in the future.”

Universal Postal Union Director General Bishar A. Hussein released a message on the occasion of the World Post Day on 9 October

“Every day around the globe, postal services make a difference in the lives of people and communities. By providing affordable, trusted and reliable communication services to all, the Post is delivering good to the world. As we mark World Post Day today, let us celebrate trust, reliability and security as the hallmark of postal services worldwide.”
