“Post – the National Counter” – Higher Availability of Services to Individuals
As of early September, the Post has delivered driving licenses to homes of individuals
Aiming to implement the Post2022 Strategy and the “Post – the National Counter” strategic guidelines, Croatian Post has delivered driving licenses to the home addresses of applicants who submitted their applications using the e-Citizens system.
Starting from 4 September 2017, a new e-service has been available to individuals – they are now able to submit their ordinary driving license applications by using an electronic ID card with a signature certificate. By using the e-Citizens system, an individual will be able to attach to his application scanned documents required to be provided when applying for a driving license (license exam certificate, medical certificate), while the applicant’s photograph and signature will be transferred from the Information System of the Ministry of the Interior.
The applicant will be able to choose between different options of collecting his new driving license: he may collect it at the police administration or station where he electronically applied for the driving license or he may have it delivered to his residence or current address using Croatian Post’s services.
This resulted in a synergic effect between the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Administration, AKD and Croatian Post, aiming to make our services more available to individuals.
