On 24 and 25 May 2022, more than 80 representatives of 30 postal operators from around the world gathered in Vienna for the Annual Conference of the International Post Corporation (IPC). The gathering was hosted by the Austrian Post, and the topic was Postal Innovation for the Future of E-Commerce. Ivana Mrkonjić, a member of the Management Board of the Croatian Post, also took part in the event. Participants discussed ways in which postal operators can deliver innovation to meet the challenges of competition posed by global e-commerce and global trading platforms, various integrators and digital development companies that also provide delivery services to customers, as well as keeping in mind the rapidly changing needs and expectations of customers when it comes to delivering goods purchased online.
