Employer Partner Certificate for the largest employer in Croatia - Croatian Post

For the second year running, Croatian Post has received an acknowledgment for excellence in human resource management.
Zagreb, October 17th 2018 – The quality management of human resources is part of the Post2022 Development Strategy, which centres on employees and basic postal values: trust, proactivity and excellence. By taking into account the aforementioned values, as well as the areas in which it has shown even greater progress this year, Croatian Post has been awarded the Employer Partner Certificate by the Certification Team of the SELECTIO consulting company for the second year in a row, thus proving once again that Croatian Post has achieved great success in the area of human resource management.
The Certificate Presentation Ceremony was held on October 17th in the premises of Croatian Post on Jurišićeva Street in Zagreb. Ivan Čulo, CEO of Croatian Post, received the Certificate from Aleksandar Zemunić, Board Member of the SELECTIO consulting company. While receiving the Certificate, Ivan Čulo pointed out that Croatian Post is now a modern company with a clear vision engaged in social responsibility. Due to the Post 2022 Development Strategy, as well as the hard and responsible work put in by all the employees, the Post has achieved good business results in all areas, including human resource management. „This Certificate makes us proud because it proves that we are the largest employer in Croatia and a reliable business partner. We apply some of the best practices and experience in the world when it comes to conducting basic business operations, as well as establishing relationships with our employees. This is why we will continue to promote excellence in human resource management because people hold the key to success in every company", said Čulo.
Croatian Post has more than 10,000 employees, making it the largest employer in Croatia. In the current business environment and market, possessing the ability to adapt fast is extremely important, which is why Croatian Post has made substantial investments in the development of knowledge by providing employees with all the necessary professional training. All employees can attend professional training sessions and further their "soft", sales or computer skills, depending on the area they need to improve. Also, all Croatian Post managers are required to participate in the Croatian Post Academy training programme to improve management competencies, transfer knowledge internally and strengthen cooperation and teamwork. Croatian Post also pays special attention to the health and wellbeing of its employees by ensuring free medical check-ups and it cares about their future social security by making contributions to the third pension pillar, thus rewarding their work dedication, responsibility and excellence.
In order to receive the certificate once again, Croatian Post has had to meet very stringent criteria. This year it has made significant progress in the following areas: Strategy, Recruitment and Selection and Performance Management. The Certificate therefore proves that Croatian Post maintains a high level of human resource management, as well as promotes and introduces standards that improve business results, the quality of work and employee satisfaction with the work conditions.
Croatian Post is one of only five state-owned companies to hold the Employer Partner Certificate. Currently a total of 48 companies hold the Employer Partner Certificate in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
