Croatian Post is rewarding postmen and drivers with 1,200 euros
29.02.2024.
Postmen, newspaper deliverers and drivers of Croatian Post can now, in addition to all other work benefits and increased income, count on an additional bonus. If they stay in the company until the end of the year, they can earn an additional 1,200 euros net. This award was introduced for workplaces where the greatest fluctuation and need for employment was determined, and will also apply to all future workers in those workplaces who are employed by the end of June 2024 at the latest.
Croatian Post, like many other employers on the labor market, has had challenges in certain areas with finding an adequate workforce and turnover for a long time. Aware that an increase in income is the only real answer to the increased turnover of workers, Croatian post has launched numerous initiatives for their retention in the last two years.
Thus, in March 2024, the salary of all Croatian post's workers will increase again - for the third time in the last six months - which is an increase of a total of 25%. Income growth started as early as 2022, when the salary for 8,000 workers in operational jobs was increased by 20%. Postmen and women postmen are paid three one-time commemorative awards each year, Easter, Christmas and holiday pay. Workers in operational workplaces receive a variable performance bonus every month in addition to their regular salary. Let's add to that systematic and specialist health examinations, the MultiSport card, but also an increase in co-payments for transportation and nutrition, and a special reward for success that depends on the fulfillment of annual goals and can reach the amount of monthly non-payment by payment into the third pension pillar. All these are just some of the benefits of working at Croatian Post.
The focus on workers' living standards and income growth are among the strategic directions of Croatian Post, especially considering inflation and the rise in living costs. Satisfied employees are the prerequisite for additional productivity and profitability and the key to quality service and satisfaction of our users. Croatian post improves and strengthens its market position by further developing logistics and parcel services with a focus on the user, increases the competitiveness of its operations and ensures its contribution to the economy of the Republic of Croatia.
