October, 2012 – A “Gold Certificate – A” for enhancement of quality management processes was awarded to Croatian Post at the 25^th Postal Congress of the Universal Postal Union held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.  The congress was attended by 2000 participants from 192 member states. This important recognition from the largest global postal association is a proof of reliability, trust and quality of service and a guarantee to our customers that they will receive an A-level service. The certificate was awarded to Croatian Post in recognition of its performance after UPU representatives collected data from international processes in April 2012. Croatian Post won 1965 points (out of possible 2000) earning the UPU A-Level Quality of Service Certificate (Gold). UPU QS Certification is regarded as a postal equivalent to ISO certification. Since 2004, when this certification project was launched, to date, UPU certificates were presented to 34 national postal operators, but only 15 were honoured with the Gold Certificate, and among them is Croatian Post.
