The commemorative stamp "Dalmatian Dog" from 2022 wins an international award.
 
Another stamp issued by the Croatian Post can boast a valuable international recognition. The latest award was received on July 23, 2023, from the Italian town of Asiago at the 53rd World Competition "Premio Internazionale d'Arte Filatelica". It was won by our commemorative postage stamp from the series "Pets - Dogs 3", issued in 2022, featuring the motif of a Dalmatian dog. The postal Dalmatian won the award in the "Tourism" category. The award was received on behalf of the Croatian Post by Davorka Šarić, Counselor at the General Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Trieste.
 
In the mentioned series, stamps featuring a Beagle, Pomeranian, and Scottish Shepherd were also printed, and the author of these stamps is a designer from Zagreb, Katarina Lončar.
